mark muffin

mark muffin, the group with a serene style of rock, was born at the end of 2005. The original line-up included the vocalist/guitarist Nishino Akito (ex. Voyage, Pt), who began his musical journey from the depths of visual kei, guitarist Moriyama Masayuki (ex. Wyse), bassist Kuroyanagi Yoshio (SOPHIA) and drummer RONZI (BRAHMAN). Since the last two members mentioned still belong to their own bands, the beginning of mark muffin was also about coordinating schedules. In fact, the actual start of activities was in 2006 when they also released the tactfully sentimental debut single Melancholy.

Soon rising into the promising new names of indie rock, mark muffin released their second single, Yellow under tone, in July 2007. Although the fruits of their effort began to show more clearly after the release of their full-length album turn on February 6, 2008. The album's promotional tour ended in the group's first oneman concert at the end of the same month.

Bassist Kuroyanagi quit the band in April 2008, leaving the rest of the members to continue their career as a three-piece. Soon after this turning point, mark muffin released a single called Shindou, and after getting in the faster pace of action, the group shows no sign of calming down.
