In order to commemorate hide's sudden death ten years ago on May 2, 1998, Yoshiki has arranged the hide memorial summit to be held on the 3rd and 4th of May.

The event, which will be held at Tokyo Ajinomoto Stadium, will be X JAPAN's first memorial concert since hide's death and will feature participation from all of the members of the band as well as performances from a rumored twenty groups/artists. So far, confirmed guests include LUNA SEA, Dir en grey, T.M.Revolution and Muteki BAND. In particular, Muteki BAND's line-up has yet to be announced, but it's fairly certain that YOSHIKI will play some part in this current arrangement.

An estimated 100,000 spectators will attend this memorial summit.
