Cains:Feel

Though Cains:Feel never surpassed indies obscurity, three of its members have since gone on to form one of Japan's most popular bands, GacktJOB. Little is known about Gackt's first band beyond what he mentions in his autobiography Jihaku.

After meeting in the late 1980's, then drummer Gackt and guitarist YOU decided to form a band in Kyoto. Gackt soon became the vocalist after the two discovered that there were few talents who suited their style. Before long, Ren joined the band as bassist. The names of the other members are unfortunately unknown to the public.

By 1995, Cains:Feel had released a handful of demo tapes. But the band soon disintegrated after Gackt joined Malice Mizer in Tokyo while YOU migrated from band to band. Ren worked on his own project, Lin Clover. Four years later, Gackt enlisted their talents for his support band, GacktJOB. Even though they are huge hits today, the former members of Cains:Feel still remember their humbling roots.
