Poroli was created on October 15, 2001, but their activities started in February 2002 with various live concerts. They started off by contributing to various compilation CDs, a few demo-tapes and of course they participated in many events.

In 2003, they started to get a little more known around the visual kei scene, released their first single and had their first one-man concert. Their first mini-album, Shochuu Omimai was released in July.

In October, guitarist Ruli decided to leave the band and the band performed with support guitarists for a while. Two of them were Tsubaki (former Hanamuke) and Taishi, who both became official members of the band in February 2004.

The band released more items including their second video and a maxi-single before they started on quite a long tour in July 2004. Yu~jiro~ left the band after the final of this tour, which was an one-man concert. Then, the remaining members of the band decided to go on a short break.

However, Poroli never quite returned to form after their hiatus. They performed at a few more events, but then decided to disband for good. They performed their last two concerts on March 5th and 6th.

Some of the members continued to play and joined new bands, while others seem to be inactive in the music scene. Kiri became the drummer of the new band of two ex-Kalimero members: Heidi.. Tsubaki joined the band NAUGHTY DOGG, Ruli is now in Canzel, whilst Yu~jiro~ became the bassist of Jully.
