Endo Kazuma

When SIAM SHADE went on hiatus, Kazuma's first solo release was a duet with Taiwanese singer Vivian Hsu and their collaboration single, Moment was released in January 2003. The single was a substantial success as male and female duets are not that common nowadays in Japan. As a further triumph, the song was used as an opening theme for the wildly popular anime "Gundam SEED".

Not long after this, he released his first solo album, Don't you love me?, to all his eagerly waiting fans. Kazuma worked with fellow musicians Junji also from SIAM SHADE and Towa from /\ucifer to create the album and a tour of the same name took place in the following months. A follow-up album was released once the tour was completed.

At the beginning of 2005, he released his fourth album and by the end of January, embarked on a live tour that kept him busy up until Christmas eve. The year 2006 was a less eventful performance year, but quality made up for quantity when Kazuma participated in TARGET INNOVATION LABEL EVENT, SUMMER SONIC tour and participated at events with Anna Tsuchiya and Girl POP FACTORY. In September, he released his fifth album. The years 2007 and 2008 were spent both on the road and in the recording studio where he produced two new maxi singles. During summer 2008, Kazuma participated in many event lives, including JACK IN THE BOX '08.

The year 2009 was kicked off with his participation in Livecast at Shibuya BOXX, and by April, released the album, Ai shichoru♥ . Throughout the remainder of the year, he continued to perform at many Tokyo venues during events including DETROX presents Damnation vol.10. It is notable that DETROX is Hideki's post-SIAM SHADE group.

The year 2010 was a quiet one for Kazuma. In February he celebrated his birthday at Ebisu Liquidroom, but has spent the better part of the year not touring. By 2011, his activity was still quiet. Shortly after the March Tohoku earthquake, SIAM SHADE announced their intention to reunite after nearly a ten year hiatus. As of the end of April, the band has resumed activities.

While it is unknown if Kazuma will be working solo again in the future, fans can be sure they will see him back on the stage with SIAM SHADE in the near future.
