Karma-Shenjing began on November 1st in 2002, debuting from the Kansai area. A surprisingly short time after, they held their first live at Kobe BackBeat on November 17th.

In 2003 they released their first maxi-single, followed by their first album Rinne. They spent the rest of the year focusing on lives, performing in new areas and attracting new fans.

2004 brought the band a couple of lives early in the year, and they released their second-maxi single. They held many more lives, including some with Under Code bands and Hizaki.

Karma-Shenjing continued to do lives and released another maxi-single in August, their only release for the year. In November the band traveled to the United States and performed at the Santa Clara Marriott event hall in California.

In January of 2006 they released their second full-length record, a concept album called Ruten Rinne. They took part in Kisaki‘s live event series called ‘The Day Before “VOLCANO”’ that ran through the beginning of March. After a brief break, they released a special USA version of their second-album, and a live DVD.

2007 has given the band a handful of lives and a guest appearance at the anime convention Fanime Con in California. They have more lives scheduled and will hopefully have another eventful year.
