NEVER CRAZY

NEVER CRAZY

Never Crazy was formed by Yuu (vocals) Masahiro (guitar) Niino (bass) and Kenta (drums) on Christmas 2002. Their activities began during the following year and they held their first live performance in March 2003. Naturally, more performances followed that year and they performed on various festivals.

In June 2004 they released their first maxi single: Dekoboko Koukaiki ~Taisetsu na Hito e~, which was limited to only 1000 copies and sold out quite fast. They continued to perform on events, and were featured on an omnibus album from the label Under Code.

2005 started with the release of their second maxi-single and in February the band released their first mini-album: Jonjou monogatari. Although everything seemed to be going really well for the band, the fans received bad news as they announced in April that bassist Niino would leave the band in May.

The rest of the band wasn’t sure whether they would disband or find a new bassist and continue, but it was sure they would have an activity stop after Niino’s departure.
In the meantime they continued to perform, but then two days before their last concert together with the bassist, a very grave message appeared on their official website. Kenta, the band’s drummer, had collapsed and he was suffering from a brain haemorrhage. He was immediately hospitalised, and everybody was hoping he would come out okay.

Two days later, on May 26th, what would be their last concert with the line-up of that time, only three of the four members showed up, bearing incredibly sad news: Kenta had passed away that morning. May he rest in peace.

The band also made their final decision known, and so Never Crazy disbanded. After that, Yuu started the band 176BIZ, Masahiro started the band Kelli after he was a support member of the bands Nega and Hannah. Niino seems to have ended his career in music and is currently not playing in any band.
