After Daishi's arrest in 2005, Psycho le Cému was forced to take a break from their activities; the remaining four opened the info site SYNECTICS, which was to keep their fans up-to-date about the activities of the members. Dacco was announced as the new project of Lida and YURA, while Aya and Seek resurrected their old band Isabelle with new members.
Although their official start was July 1st, it wasn't until three months later that they released their first single, Koi ga oka, simultaneously with Isabelle's first release. As a result, the two bands did a four-stop tour to commemorate the opening of SYNECTICS.
After starting the new year with a series of one-man concerts and a secret appearance at a SHOXX event, they announced the release of their first album, Baby, in March 2006. At the end of July, their summer tour completely sold out. When summer ended, Dacco made their first overseas appearance at San Diego Comic Con in the USA.
When SYNECTICS dissolved at the beginning of 2007, Dacco signed a contract with SMA Entertainment. After celebrating their 2-year anniversary, they released their second full album in August titled Tomorrow. Having started their fall tour, the duo played in a series of events as well as a special theatrical event featuring YURA and several other artists from other bands.
Spring 2008 saw the release of another new single, HORIZON, followed by A to I to U to E to ♪ O-tomodachi ♪ in September. Shortly after, YURA introduced a new side-band he was to be part of, Brother, but this did not slow Dacco down for long.
In April the next year, Dacco released their new mini-album, HAPPY! LIKE A BABY and performed a series of lives to support the release. After these lives and events, it was revealed that Lida had formed a side project separate from Dacco as well called Ninjaman-Japan, silencing the band's schedule for the next month. Not silent for long, the pair participated in a few events scattered through late summer and currently have numerous shows scheduled for the fall and winter.
