Spin Aqua

Spin Aqua was formed in 2002 by Anna Tsuchiya and KAZ. They released their first single, Unchained in November that year with the Ki/oon label and shortly after, in December, had their first live at the Devilock '02 concert at Tokyo Bay NHK Hall.

Five months later they released their second single, mermaid, which ranked at 197 on the Oricon charts followed by PAPER MOON in June 2003. Their debut and only album, Pisces, and a DVD, Spin Aqua Films -1st Session-, came a mere month after, in June. Pisces managed to rank at 187 on the Oricon charts.

Shortly after though, Anna Tsuchiya became pregnant. The pair made announcements on the website informing fans of the news and their decision to end the band. Anna commented that although she loved music, singing and Spin Aqua the reality of raising a child while maintaining band activities would be difficult.

Since then, KAZ returned to Oblivian Dust before commencing work on VAMPS with Hyde. Anna meanwhile, after the birth of her baby, returned to music in 2005 as the solo artist, Anna Tsuchiya.
