The rock band Jackson Vibe began in October of 2003. Of the three band members, two of them - Yoshikazu Grover (vocals and guitar) and Kouichi Hashitani (guitar) - were also members together in SKA SKA CLUB. The third member is Motohiko Satou (bass and backup vocals). Originally, the band had four members with Sugawa "Caprico" Motoi on drums, but he left the band in December of 2006.

Jackson Vibe's first release was Nijiiro no Kage but their first success came with the song Asayake no Tabiji, which was used for a Fuji TV drama. Their sound is mellow, reminiscent of old school rock with cheerful and relaxed overtones.

Jackson Vibe released four single CDs and three full albums while signed to TOSHIBA EMI. At the start of 2007 they signed on to the avex sub-label binyl records. Their first single with avex, Roman People, was released in February.

Jackson Vibe has since come out with a new single each month, culminating with the sixth single, 24 HOUR DREAMING PEOPLE, being released on a compilation album that came out July 4th, 2007. The band went on a live house tour through October 2007.

In 2008, Jackson Vibe participated in various compilation albums and also released their own mini-album, VIBES, in June. As for 2009, they have lives scheduled through June and will likely release more new material later in the year.
