At the end of 2007, ryo (ex-GULLET) decided that it was time to return to the music scene after being away from it for almost four years. Little is known about the other two members of the band, who are hati on bass and utA on guitar. What we do know is that they make an excellent trio.

During their live performances they are supported by two more musicians, the drummer aki (ex-GULLET) and the manipulator akaya, who have become an integral part of the band.

9GOATS BLACK OUT didn't take long to release something, and their first album, devils in bedside, was released on January 25. It turned out to be perfectly balanced between controlled and emotional, yet still rock music. The first press was already completely sold out many weeks before its official release date. As a result, the band announced a second press, which will also be available for purchase for international buyers on their official website, unlike the first press. Shortly after the release of the album, 9GOATS BLACK OUT opened their myspace, which assisted in heightening their popularity overseas.

In August, the band launched their first tour, Live In Beauty, which spanned until the end of 2008. September marked the release of their first single, Sleeping Beauty, which maintained the same sound style they had established in their first album, much to the delight of their fans. They then embarked on another tour, and played two two-man performances, with Dummy's Corporation in Tokyo and with NightingeiL in Niigata, before the end of the year.

9GOATS BLACK OUT made the start of 2009 an eventful one, joining Sugar on a two-man tour, BLACK sugar POT, in January, and released their second album the next month. On April 11, the band held their first one-man at Shibuya BOXX, tickets to which sold out within hours. Later that month, 9GOATS BLACK OUT signed on to CLJ Records, a German label, and their song Sink was featured on the omnibus, J-Visual[ism] 2. The band continued to play shows heavily through the remainder of the year, from May until December.

At the start of the new year, 9GOATS BLACK OUT took a three month pause, and just four days after the release of their new album, TANATOS, the band began a new two-man nationwide tour with cocklobin entitled Deep Sleepers. While the band had extreme success during the new tour and succeeded to sell out several dates, it was suddenly announced that after their May 7th one-man, they would take a indefinite hiatus.

Despite the worry that swept the 9GOATS fanbase post announcement, the hiatus proved to not last long and by fall, the band resumed live activities in October, participating in the Baphomet events through November and December.

The band began performing throughout Japan in January, and in early May, they kicked off a coupling tour with Inugami Circus-dan as well as numerous events throughout the month. The band will hold the one-man tour "The Retrospect" tsuioku to yume in June. The remainder of their summer will be spent performing alongside bands such as doremidan and Shinkou Shuukyou Gakudan NoGoD at CRUSH OF MODE HYPER HOT SUMMER'11.

With a busy summer ahead, 9GOATS BLACK OUT should not be missed!
