Virgil

Indies visual kei band Goshujinsama Senyou Kisai Gakudan, or Virgil for short, is a themed band centered on the idea of servants. Formed in the beginning of 2009, the members are vocalist Roa, guitarist HAKU, bassist Zekusu from Dennou Romeo, and drummer Takumi from ex-Guy’s Family. Although these are the members' official positions, they seem to like to switch around sometimes, especially Virgil’s leader, Roa. He is able to switch to any other position except bass. Including playing the guitar, HAKU is also sometimes on vocals.

Their first release was the single broke stone awake sevendays, which was released on April 22nd. The band had their first live a week later at Shibuya BOXX. They went on to release their first drama CD, Kisei gakudan monogatari ''Zekusu no shou'' on August 12th. Their drama CD had a musical element to it, yet it still contained a story in which the band members acted out their characters. Their second single later came out at the end of the year in December.

In 2010, Virgil announced a consecutive three-month release campaign March with their single SENSE. The final release for this campaign was their second drama CD, Kisai Gakudan Monogatari “Haku no Shou”. Unfortunately, the month after their release campaign, it was announced that all members except Roa would be leaving the band.

The band began with a good start, however with four members leaving, we will see where Virgil will go from here.
