christy.has been involved in the music scene ever since her years as a student when she sponsored fusion club events. Shows that she produced include band lives, DJ club events, fashion shows and drag queen shows, and would often get featured in magazines and newspapers across Japan, especially since they were so niche.

Her first band was BOA BRAIN. They differentiated themselves from other bands in Shibuya with their concept of "No Drug, No Sex, No Love, Only Money." When the band ended activity, christy.began to plan her solo career.

In 2009 she released her debut single, SAKURA ~ SAKURAP ~ - a sampling of Takano Kenichi's award winning song Sakura, for which hip-hop/R&B dance unit RSP had an answering version to. With her husky voice and Takano’s soft singing, the finished song incorporated R&B, hip-hop and J-pop, creating a whole new, charming sound.

In the future, christy.could successfully do more singing, as her voice has that mainstream appeal. Keep an eye on this young female artist; she has the potential to be a big hit.
