C-ZONE debuted in 2004, not performing much at the beginning. It is hard to say anything more about this period of time as it was only in 2009 that the official blog of the group was opened, enabling fans to check on the activities of their beloved idols. However, the girls had worked hard for sure as they had released two albums and seven singles by that time.

Their first CD was a single titled RAVE POTION~Koi no biyaku~, which was recorded in June 2004. The following albums were released consequently, starting with the single WE ARE C-ZONE! and the album HAPPY BIRTH DAY!! released exactly a year after the first album of C-ZONE. Three years later, three other singles hit the stores: RING×3!!!, Sakura kooru and Ding Dong Dang.

In 2007, the group's activities decreased slightly, with only single, Winner's Soul '07, released that year. Soon after, they returned to their previous quick pace and in 2008 their second album SEASON and single Heat course appeared in stores.

2009 was a breakthrough year for the band. After recording their eighth single sweets&pretty, C-ZONE performed abroad for the first time at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, United States. After their return to Japan, the band repeatedly appeared in the media: TV, radio and one of their concerts on the radio was even transmitted through the Internet. The girls finished that busy and successful year with another single, Snow breeze.

Fans weren’t disappointed in 2010 as C-ZONE was busy all year round again. Ikeda Aya, one of the group’s members, recorded Alright! HeartCatch PreCure!, the opening to the anime series "Catch Cure Heart.” An album containing this song and two ending themes from the anime were released, ranking third and first in the daily and weekly Oricon Charts respectively.

In May 2010 the line-up of C-ZONE underwent a major change because one of their lead members, Ryo Kawase, fell ill. However, in June, the trio Yamamoto Yume, Kitamura Shizuka and Ikeda Aya performed in Europe for the first time at Japan Expo 2010 in France. A few days later they released their tenth single, SUMMER☆PARTY. In November both Kawase Ryo and Ikeda Aya left the group in order to focus on their solo careers.

It wasn’t until April 1st, 2011 that they announced that new vocalists would be joining the group. Five new girls joined the line-up, creating a septet. Only a day after the new members' public initiation, a new TV program created by C-ZONE titled "♡ Maiden GOOD JOB!” went on air.

Since 2010, the girls of C-ZONE haven't released anything new. However, with the new line-up fans sure hope C-ZONE won’t break their tradition of recording something new every year.
