A (ACE)’s debut live was in 2010. On April 18th, they performed in the Laforet Museum in Tokyo’s district, Roppongi. Initially, there were four members in the band: vocalist Nimo, violinist Rookie Fiddler, bassist Toshi and guitarist Mucho Gracias. The band’s first mini album was distributed live only six months after their debut. It was titled BLACK ALBUM. and its sound was dark with influences of classical music. Out next was their first single, Yoake no Anthem / NUDE, which was released on December 22nd.

In their first year, A (ACE) not only created new material but also focused on performing. They took part in a Stylish Wave tour, visiting four countries. In autumn, they also performed in a couple of events. Finally, they were ready to host their own concert in Ikebukuro CYBER, a live titled Bon Voyage ~seiya no utage~. To finish the year, they appeared in two events: YUYA UCHIDA PRESENTS 38th NEW YEARS WORLD ROCK FESTIVAL and stylish wave COUNTDOWN'10-'11.

In February 2011, they performed the live Bon Voyage~shirogane no utage~. During that year, the adventurers discovered sounds from all over the world. A (ACE) decided to release five consecutive singles, each developing the sounds of different countries. In this manner they created the British Grafton Calling, Japanese SAKURA, Spanish MASQUERADE, Indian GODDESS and American Viva la Casta!. All these songs were later released on a live distributed album, WHITE ALBUM. The songs on WHITE ALBUM, together with the songs from BLACK ALBUM, were later included on the band's first full album BLACK & WHITE ALBUM which was released on November 23rd. Before WHITE ALBUM was released, the single Black Butterfly came out on September 14th. Black Butterfly is currently one of the most popular songs of A (ACE).

2011 was the year of the great Tohoku earthquake and tsunami tragedy which occurred in Japan. The members of A (ACE), together with the bands FEST VAINQUEUR and DaizyStripper, launched the charity project BLUE PLANET JAPAN. They wanted to support the victims of the tsunami, comfort and give them hope for a better future. Many bands participated in this project, such as Versailles, rice, Moran, heidi. and Matenrou Opera. Together they recorded the song Hitotsudake~We Are The One~, which was released on September 14th.

The year ended with success: A (ACE) not only released the aforementioned first album, but also held their second one-man, titled THANKS GIVING DAY 2011. However, there was also a loss: their guitarist, Mucho Gracias, left the band and went “travelling.”

The three remaining members, just as true pirates would have done, continued their journey even though the circumstances were unfavorable. Firstly, they held their third one-man, NU WORLD~Shinriyakuhen hajimari no utage~. Soon after, they released a new single Night Of The Knights and their second full album, Tales for the Abyss, was released in June. In July, A (ACE) will be visiting twelve different countries in Europe as a part of their Absolute Conquest of Europe tour.
