Shores

Hardcore-band Shores was formed in Okinawa at the end of 2010. In the original line-up was vocalist Thomas Helvenstine, guitarist-vocalist Andrew Hafemiester, guitarist Eddie Allshouse, bassist Sean Kelly and drummer Earl Standerford. Guitarist Shogo Tabata joined the band after Eddie passed away.

The band began recording their first album, Beginning | End, around 2011, but recordings stopped for a while when guitarist Eddie Allshouse died tragically from a stabbing. Before his death, he made five songs on the album. Shores decided to go on a small hiatus until Shogo Tabata joined the band to follow in Eddie's footsteps. The album was released at the end of 2012.

In 2013, Shores has focused mainly on playing concerts and recording their upcoming album. In April they released their second music video, Beacons, from their first album. In June they played with well-known hardcore/metal bandHer Name In Blood in their The Beast Tour. Currently the band is recording their album Repetitions, which is planned to be released this year.
