The rock band answers some speed questions for JaME.
The members of up and coming band Silhouette from the Skylit took the time to answer the questions for a speed interview when returning from their first show overseas.
Hello, I am …
SeishiroX: … SeishiroX on vocals.
Tetsuro: … Tetsuro on bass.
K.O.U: … Kou on drums.
Rockwell: … Rockwell on guitar and Takoyaki boy.
For me, Silhouette from the Skylit is …
SeishiroX: … the thing that gives me the most powerful change ever in my life.
Tetsuro: … an oasis.
K.O.U: … my home.
Rockwell: … like a school.
A SFTS song everyone should really listen to is …
SeishiroX: … BLUE ECHO, because this is one of our songs which reflects our humanity, dreams and how we have come to where we are now in a perfect way.
Tetsuro and K.O.U: Blue Echo, because it is so emotional and powerful!
Rockwell: Unsheathed, because the music video is fun to watch. We are moving so fast and it looks funny.
The best show I played so far was…
SeishiroX: Sorry, I just can't choose which was the best.
Tetsuro: Knotfest in Japan, because we played in front of so many people that you can't just imagine their number.
K.O.U and Rockwell: Also Knotfest in Japan!
I prefer playing lives or studio work ...
SeishiroX: … studio work, because I love creating stuff. I feel myself much greater when I'm creating music from nothing. I love these moments.
Tetsuro: … playing lives, because we can see audiences' faces and reactions.
K.O.U: … playing lives, because I feel really alive.
Rockwell: … studio work, because performing a live can be so hard and tiring.
I had the most fun shooting the music video for …
SeishiroX: … SEEK MY WAY OUT, because that was the first videoshoot for which we arranged everythings by ourselves, and the lighting was excellent.
Tetsuro, K.O.U and Rockwell: … Blue Echo in NY.
America was like …
SeishiroX: I feel different from when I was there several years ago because I've changed. Now I feel more independent, self-responsible and strong enough, so I felt the city was smaller.
Tetsuro: … everything is just huge.
K.O.U: … the most exciting place ever.
Rockwell: … excellent. Someday, I want to live there.
When I think of Germany, I think of …
SeishiroX: … beer, sausage, and Bundesliga1.
Tetsuro: … everyone is gentle and loves beer.
K.O.U: … sausage, and very serious people.
Rockwell: … huge people.
To me, making music means …
SeishiroX: … to be a hero for someone.
K.O.U: … giving power to listeners.
Rockwell: … life work. It's just a natural thing to do.
I like about my band mates …
SeishiroX: … that they are nice to everyone.
Tetsuro: … that they are always diligent and love music and drinking.
K.O.U: … that they are nice guys.
Rockwell: … that they are kind of diligent.
I don't like about my band mates …
SeishiroX: … that they are worst at talking.
K.O.U: … that they kind of always have a low tension.
Rockwell: Can't write them all. Too many!
If I had the chance, I would …
SeishiroX: … travel around the world on a huge ship.
K.O.U: … make a lot of money and have many dogs.
Rockwell: … marry an anime voice actor.
My favorite free time activity is …
SeishiroX: … going out and finding some great restaurants.
Tetsuro and K.O.U: … reading comics.
Rockwell: … comics, games, anime, movies, 2ch2.
A place I really want to go and play lives is …
SeishiroX and Tetsuro: … Taiwan.
K.O.U: … U.S.A.
Rockwell: … America.
My message for JaME readers:
SeishiroX: Thank you for loving Japanese music. Japanese is a beautiful language. Please feel that fact by studying Japanese lyrics and of course our lyrics.
Tetsuro: Come to Japan and eat ramen!!!
K.O.U: Thank you so much.
Rockwell: I'm Rockwell. I love anime. Nyanpasuu!
JaME would like to thank Silhouette from the Skylit and Stephanie for making this interview possible.
