Interview with KAMIJO

You're back for a final live in France. What brought you back to our capital a second time?

KAMIJO: Because I love France!

Should we expect surprises during this live?

KAMIJO: You will be able to listen to quality songs. Treat yourself !

The question that many fans are asking: will you come with MASASHI or any other members of Versailles?

KAMIJO: No. Only members which were announced on my official website.

This show has been named Royal Night. It's something brand new for you and your fans. Where did you get this idea? How’re you feeling about this event?

KAMIJO: My producer has planned a beautiful place. So I gave this name to the event to be consistent with the place. I want it to be an elegant event as its title.

You impose a dress code. Should we expect to see you in a tuxedo as well?

KAMIJO: I'm always dressed classy. (laughs)

You will offer a fine buffet. Are you going to include your favorite French dishes?

KAMIJO: I love foie gras, so I'd like that to be there.

Anything else? Snails? Truffles?

KAMIJO: I love fried foie gras.

You released two best-of albums. How did you choose the songs to feature on them?

KAMIJO: For All Time Best, I chose the most memorable songs of my career. For Revival Best, I selected tracks that I wanted to sing.

Which songs are the most emblematic for you?

KAMIJO: Songs from my solo career are closer to my personality.

Your 20th anniversary tour comes to an end soon. Can you tell us any memorable moments? What has impressed you the most?

KAMIJO: Without doubt, the fact that fans have saved the situation by creating a suit for me because mine got lost during the trip. This was the best memory of my European tour.

As the end of the year is fast approaching, what are your plans for 2016? A new album? New collaborations?

KAMIJO: Of course! Please wait a little longer for the official announcement.

KAMIJO: Thank you for your support. To conclude this year marking the twentieth anniversary of my career, I will give a special live where I will sing songs of my former bands. This is really the last time! Do not miss this opportunity!
