Sxun Leaves Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas

Guitarist Sxun had been absent from a few of Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas' recent performances starting in the middle of June, including their set at SATANIC CARNIVAL'18, and it was announced today that he has officially left the band.

In a message on the band's official website, it was revealed that Sxun asked to leave the band back in May due to personal reasons. Sxun has been a member of Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas since the band's formation in 2008.

After numerous discussions with their staff, the remaining members have decided to continue activities as a quintet. They apologized to the fans for the sudden announcement and stated that they hope they will continue to support them in the future.

In his individual comment, drummer Tomonori stated that while withdrawing from a band has a "negative" image, he feels that this was the best option for both Sxun and the rest of the members and he hopes that the fans will not come away from this announcement with negative feelings. The other members' messages were all quick to state that they have no intention of stopping activities and that they are focused on moving forwards.
