BACK-ON - BLAZE LINE / a day dreaming...

BACK-ON's fire is back on with their first release of 2007.

Rap-rock band BACK-ON brings their listeners to new heights with their first release of 2007, BLAZE LINE / a day dreaming.... This young band, having gained much publicity with their recent performances in the USA, brings a single filled with diverse melodies from rock to rap and hip-hop to gentle sounds.

Opening with stadium cheers, BLAZE LINE starts off very loud with all instruments crashing and joining together to build a rush before KENJI03 begins to sing. What makes this track very unique is the change of melody depending on the vocalist. When KENJI03 sings the track is very heavy with instrumental play allowing the listener to simply 'rock out', but when TEEDA beings his MC the sound changes to a hip-hop version of this rock song making it quite danceable.

The second and most shocking track on the single is a day dreaming.... This track is nothing like any other that BACK-ON has produced. It is soft, melodious and very sweet, considering the usual hardcore rap-rock sounds that fans expect. ICCHAN does a wonderful display with cymbal to keep the easy-flowing of the song. This is the first track where TEEDA is able to show off his vocal talents as he actually sings instead of raps. It is a perfect compliment to KENJI03's soothing voice.

The single continues to get even better with its last track, EYES. This track is very powerful and the intensity is driven home with the two vocalists during the chorus. This track has many points, which take the listener into exceeding heights beginning with ICCHAN's cymbals before both guitarists continue the rush that began with the drummer. TEEDA's rapping is slower in this track, but as the chorus comes the instruments and the rapper begin to build speed before being joined by KENJI03's magnifying voice with "trust me".

All the tracks on this single are very powerful in their own way, making it difficult to decided which could possibly be the best track. This young band's talent continues to shine with each of their releases which should make fans, old and new, excited for what they will bring us in the future.
