Janne Da Arc - Furimukeba... / Destination

Furimukeba... / Destination is one of the latest singles Janne Da Arc has released. The single was released in three versions: a CD only edition and two versions with a DVD. Both songs on the release later also appear on the band's SINGLES 2 album.

Furimukeba... is a nice ballad. Though it lacks originality and seems like a general ballad, yasu's voice is perfect for the song and sounds clear. About halfway through the song there is a great guitar solo which is reminiscent of the rock origin of the band. The song ends with a nice guitar outro combined with yasu's sweet voice. It's a nice song to have playing in the background and after listening to it a few times, you will probably find yourself humming along.

The second song on this release, Destination, is the opposite of the first track: fast guitars and pounding drums dominate this song. Throughout the track, synthesizer effects can also be heard. The instrumental part is great and gives all the band members a chance to show off their talent.

With the first song on their single being a slow ballad and the second an energetic rock song, Janne Da Arc really shows their soft and hard side on this release. Though it may not be their best release to date, the fans will definitely love it.
