Simultaneously, with the release of COLOR’s second album BLUE~Tears from the sky~, the follow-up single Kimi no inai michi came out. The single is marked by emotions and was once more produced by EXILE member ATSUSHI.

The four smooth singers around the new leader TAKA launch into the title track, the very sensitive song Kimi no inai michi. This love song lives because of the feelings of precious love described and is accompanied musically by a soft piano, strings and some light R&B elements. When COLOR was traveling around Japan on their COLOR LIVE TOUR 2007 “BLUE” in Fall 2007, there were also some songs recorded during the final at SHIBUYA AX on November 24. Three songs made it on to the single. The live recordings are a convincing show of talent, with the group's very lovely voices and a feeling that is conveyed directly to the crowd. The chosen songs are the catchy and emotional Namida ga ochinai you ni, the calm, schmaltzy Aoi tori and the live version of Kimi no inai michi. To capture the mood of a live concert, even the applause at the end of the love songs remained.

On this single, one R&B ballad follows the next, and so this disc is a definite must have for all born romantic! Once more TAKA, YUICHIRO, KEISEI and RYO show off their vocals. It's easy to hear their compassionate souls, and you also hear their lifeblood in the tracks very clearly. To keep it short: COLOR’s Kimi no inai michi is highly recommended.
