Megamasso was a visual kei band formed by Ryohei (ex-Ayabie). Their sound was reminiscent of his previous band, as Ryohei was their main composer before his departure. However, Megamasso produced a more experimental sound that mixed together punk, piano ballads and upbeat pop-rock songs, as well as influences from other genres.

Megamasso held together for an impressive 11 years before finally calling it a day in 2017 due to creative differences.
