Gallhammer

Gallhammer started out as a group paying homage to the style of the Swiss band Hellhammer but evolved into a successful black metal/crust punk group, who gained praise for the intense atmosphere their music creates. The band says their theme represents mental violence and that they express negative, raw feelings. They are also somewhat unusual on the extreme metal scene because all three members are female.

Gallhammer have toured extensively overseas, particularly in Europe, and have attracted a lot of positive attention from international metal media.
