Mardelas

Founded in 2014 as the solo project of ex-DESTROSE frontwoman Marina Hebishii, Mardelas are a good case study in how things can come together in the music industry. Within a few months, they were a quartet, including members of SCREAMING SYMPHONY and LIGHT BRINGER, complete with a record deal with King Records.

Despite the members’ metal backgrounds, Mardelas have become something of a latter-day LOUDNESS, filling their albums with a mix of heavy metal and varying styles of rock centered around Kikyo Oikawa’s guitar. Unusually for a 'major label' band, they also do a healthy trade in live-limited singles that rarely see general release.
