ATLANTIS AIRPORT's name was based on the ancient civilization Atlantis and the belief that airports symbolize technological advancement. Their music was a combination of old-school pop with a more progressive taste. Even though the music had an overtly mainstream pop quality to it, it also offered enough moments of “math” and “prog” to please fans of those genres.
