Danablu

Consisting of two members of Osakan emo/pop punk band NOA and ex-minor ear guitarist Yoshimura Kenshi, Danablu is an up-and-coming band signed to the indie label THE NINTH APOLLO.

While most of their songs could fit comfortably into NOA’s catalogue, they have a decidedly more focused sound. Unlike their previous band, Nishiura Shunsuke handles all lead vocals, so their songs are all coloured by his boyish, Western-sounding voice and their lyrics are almost all written completely in English. Their songs are usually straightforward and catchy, highlighted by powerful drumming, heartfelt singing and slightly clumsy, but emotional lyrics about everyday life.
