Dizzy Sunfist

Loud, energetic, and sometimes a little silly, Dizzy Sunfist play upbeat melodic punk that’s sure to put a smile on your face.

Frontwomen Ayapeta and Iyama originally formed the group in 2006 as a cover band, playing songs by ELLEGARDEN and Hi-STANDARD, but began recording original music in the years that followed and released their first demo in 2009. They were joined by current drummer moAi in 2012, and their first full album Dizzy Beats was released in March 2016 and quickly shot up to first place on the weekly Oricon Indies Album chart.

While Iyama "graduated" from the band in 2021, Ayapeta and drummer moAi decided to continue on. They recruited new bassist and backing vocalist MEIKO in 2022.
