Pride of Mind is possibly best known as the previous band of vocalist Klaha before he joined up with visual kei band Malice Mizer.

Though the "New Romantic Movement" of the 1980s took place ten years prior to Pride of Mind's formation, the band's style was heavily influenced by the synthesized and highly visual aspects of the movement.
