Major Debut Single from BABYMETAL

Kawaii metal band BABYMETAL will release their major debut single on January 9th.

Formed in 2010, the three-girl unit BABYMETAL is based on a mix of genres such as J-Pop and heavy metal. After releasing two singles and performing at Tokyo Idol Festival, the group has gained worldwide critical acclaim.

Their upcoming single, titled Ijime, Dame, Zettai, will come out in four versions. The regular edition will be CD-only and its contents have yet to be revealed. Limited Type D will come with a bonus DVD featuring the live tracks Iine! and Dokidoki Morning from BABYMETAL's concert held at Shibuya AX on April 8th. Limited Type I will feature the music video and making-of for Ijime, Dame, Zettai. Limited Type Z will come with the live tracks Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! and Ukiuki Midnight from the group's concert held at Rokumeikan on July 21st. Each edition will also feature different cover artwork.
