Solo Project by RADWIMPS' Vocalist

RADWIMPS' vocalist Noda Yojiro has announced that he will start a solo project called illion this year.

His first solo album, titled UBU, will contain fourteen tracks and will be released first in the UK on February 25th through Warner Brothers Records. It will then also come out in Japan on March 6th and in Germany and France on March 29th. Noda will then hold a one-off concert at London’s O2 Shepard's Bush Empire on March 17th . In May, illion will also perform at the festival TOKYO ROCKS 2013. Other artists appearing at the festival include British pop legends Blur, Scottish alternative rock band Primal Scream and Irish alternative rockers My Bloody Valentine.

In addition to this, RADWIMPS have also announced the release of a new single for March 20th. So far, no further details are available, but are expected to be revealed soon.
