Live Releases from LUNA SEA

Legendary rock band LUNA SEA have announced two live releases for the upcoming months. The titles of both releases are still subject to change.

First of all, they will release The End of the Dream ZEPP TOUR 2012 “KOURIN” which will feature footage from the tour final which took place at Zepp Tokyo on December 16th 2012. The DVD format is set for release on March 27th, while the Blu-ray format will become available on April 24th. It was LUNA SEA's first live house tour in twelve years, since the band went on hiatus in 2000.

The DVD format will be available in both regular and first press limited editions. The limited edition will come with a miniature reprint of tour pamphlet, a replica backstage pass and interview footage of the band members sharing their thoughts on the year 2012. The Blu-ray edition will come with bonus live footage of five versions of the song Rouge, performed in each of the five cities the band visited during the tour.

LUNA SEA will also release WOWOW Presents LUNA SEA TV SPECIAL – the End of the Dream, which is the band’s 20th anniversary program, aired by WOWOW channel on July 8th 2012. During the program, the band performed one song from each of their previously released albums, as well as their latest single at that time, THE ONE – crash to create-. The live release was filmed at the venue without any audience to enable viewers to experience an inntimate but very intense live performance. Both the DVD and Blu-ray formats are set for release on March 27th and will come with bonous footage featuring highlights of the live show LUNA SEA 20th ANNIVERSARY WORLD TOUR REBOOT –THE LAST COUNT DOWN-, which was held on New Year’s Eve 2010 at the Kobe World Kinen Hall.
