The annual anime convention Anime Expo has announced its first industry guest for this year's event.
Pop idol trio Starmarie will make their US debut at the convention, which will take place from July 4th - 7th at the Los Angeles Convention Centre, CA. Made up of members Takamori Shino, Kishita Nozomi and Aoki Shiori, Starmarie have previously collaborated with gothic lolita brand Opera the☆Dream House, and released their second album, Fantasy World 2, in December last year. Their singles Mitsuboshi Restaurant Paul kara no shoutaijou and Mogura Mystery Tour are available in the US through iTunes.
It is currently unknown exactly what Starmarie's activities during Anime Expo 2013 will entail, but more information on this and other guest announcements will be made available through the convention's official website soon.
