[Champagne], one of Japan's hottest pop-rock acts, will hold their first overseas headline show in London on May 15th.
[Champagne] started their career performing on the streets of Harajuku but, in just a few short years, have quickly advanced to performing in front of tens of thousands at
SUMMER SONIC festival, and hold the record of having had every single one of their tours completely sell out.
Keen to continue riding this wave of success, the band is heading overseas for their first UK performance, which will take place at The Pipeline in London on May 15th, presented by JAPAN UNDERGROUND. They will be supported by Brit internet sensation
Area 11 and Japanese all-girl group
No Cars, plus DJs and special guests.
[Champagne] fuse the best of eastern and western music, owing to the multicultural nature of the band, as vocalist and drummer
Kawakami Youhei grew up in Syria, and bassist
Isobe Hiroyuki grew up in America.
You can find out more about the band at their
official website.
