Yoko Kanno to Appear at Otakon 2013

Renowned composer and pianist Yoko Kanno will make an appearance at Otakon 2013. She will debut her new project, PIANO ME, performing on Sunday August 11th during the three-day convention.

Yoko Kanno has composed a number of pieces for anime soundtracks such as "Cowboy Bebop", "Macross Plus", "The Vision of Escaflowne", "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex", and a myriad of films. Her appearance at Otakon 2013 will be her first time in the US. You can find out more about the convention on their official website.
