Visual kei duo
Moon Stream have revealed plans to appear at
Anime NEXT 2013, which will take place on June 6th and 7th. Although the duo performed at
Anime Expo 2011 in Los Angeles, this marks
Moon Stream's official East coast debut.
Outside the music world, notable J-fashion brands will also make an appearance at this year's
Anime NEXT. First is head CEO of notable Lolita brand Baby The Stars Shine Bright,
Akinori Isobe with head designers,
Masumi Kano and
Saki Tachibana.
MINT, head designer of alternative brand MINT NeKO, will also be a guest. Though not directly related to music,
MINT's clothing with simple cat motifs and edgy designs is worn by several visual kei musicians such as
Dancho from
NoGoD,
Megamasso's
Ryohei and
Utahiroba Jun from
Golden Bomber, all who loosely model for the brand.
BABY and
MINT NeKO will hold fashion shows during the convention to help further promote J-fashion. Further details regarding the date and times of these shows have yet to be confirmed.
Anime NEXT is a two-day anime convention, held usually during the summer in Somerset, New Jersey. The convention attracted 9,850 attendees in 2012. More details about the convention can be found
