A tribute album to a legendary rock band
DEAD END will be released on September 4th in celebration of the band’s 25th anniversary since their major debut.
Temporarily titled
DEAD END tribute, the album will feature covers of the band’s classics, as well as newer songs. Since
DEAD END has been a great inspiration to many of today’s J-rock icons, a large number of popular artists are expected to join the project. So far, it has been announced on the band’s official website that
Kiyoharu (
SADS /
Kuroyume),
Hitoki (
Kuroyume),
HYDE (
L'Arc~en~Ciel /
VAMPS) and
TETSUYA (
L'Arc~en~Ciel) will participate in the album. It has been stated that more than 50 artists who respect
DEAD END will join the tribute album, and that some of them will form special session units just for this project.

DEAD END will also hold the event
Four Wizard Night Crawling on July 21st. This will be the fifth such event that the band has hosted, and will take place at Akasaka BLITZ, where they will play alongside drone rock band
