MIYAVI Announces Dates for 2014 World Tour

Popular solo artist MIYAVI has announced dates for a world tour in 2014.

Titled MIYAVI "SLAP THE WORLD TOUR 2014", the tour will start with an Asian leg in February, where the guitarist will perform in Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong. In March, the tour will head to Europe, visiting seven European countries in total: France, the UK, Finland, Denmark, Russia, Poland, Hungary and Germany. The UK date will take place in London at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on March 15th.

MIYAVI will then return to Japan, where he will hold a national tour, which is stated to be the longest tour of his career.

The world tour has been scheduled to promote MIYAVI's new self-titled album, which will come out in Europe on February 24th next year. The Japanese version of this release came out back in June.

MIYAVI also recently announced that he will appear in a movie at the end of 2014. The movie, titled "Unbroken", will be directed by A-list Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie. It has been stated that MIYAVI will play a war criminal. The singer's comments on his part in the upcoming movie can be viewed on his official website.
