yui to Depart from GANGLION

All-female hard rock band GANGLION’s bassist yui will depart from the band after the live show at Tokyo’s Shibuya Rex on April 5th.

According to the official comment on the band’s homepage, yui can no longer continue with her musical career due to her health condition. Although she would love to continue her journey with GANGLION, it has become physically impossible for her to do so. yui thanks fans and asks for continuous support for the band.

No announcement regarding a new bassist has been made so far. GANGLION will continue with their band career, put out a new release in July and also hold their first live show in United States this fall. More announcements will follow at a later date.
