Next Music from TOKYO vol. 6 on its Way to Canada

The Next Music from TOKYO tour, which aims to bring exceptional Japanese indie acts to Canada, will return this May. Like last year, it will hit three major Canadian cities. The full list of dates can be viewed below.

This year's line-up sees the return of one of the most popular bands in the tour's history, shoegaze/post-rock band Kinoko Teikoku. The organizer had originally intended to bring tricot, but when it became clear that the trip overseas would not fit into their schedule, a vote was held and Kinoko Teikoku were the undisputed favourite.

The other three acts include math pop band Uchu Conbini, post-rock/jazz band jizue, and underground pop band Happy!Mari. Detailed descriptions of the bands and samples of their music can be found on The Next Music from TOKYO's official site.
