New Mini-album from Misaruka

Visual kei band Misaruka have announced that they will release a new mini-album on July 9th.

Titled -Ancient ReBORN-, it features four songs from past singles that are no longer available for purchase, re-recorded by the band's current line-up. Also included are the track -Curse of Contract-, which has never been recorded before, and a bonus DVD with the music video for -Amakusa-.

In addition, Misaruka are scheduled to make their big screen debut later this year. The band will appear in the live-action movie adaptation of "Hibi Rock," a rock 'n' roll comic by Enokiya Katsumasa that has found immense popularity since it began serialization in Young Jump in 2010. Misaruka play members of The Langoliers, who are rivals of The Rock 'n' Roll Brothers, the band formed by the protagonist. The film will hit theaters across Japan this fall.
