Sadie to Go on Hiatus

Visual kei band Sadie have announced that they will go on hiatus this fall.

The band recently celebrated their tenth anniversary with a special best-of album called DECADE, and they’ve decided that this milestone is a good opportunity to focus on their music and lives as individuals for a while. The members apologized to their fans for the sudden announcement, but stated that this break is a necessary time to reflect until they feel ready to come back as a new Sadie.

However, fans will still have plenty to look forward to from Sadie this year. They will release a single titled Voyage on May 27th and head out on a nationwide tour called Never Ending Voyage –We never say good bye- to support it in June.

The band’s final live before the break, forever and ever…, will be held at Zepp Tokyo on September 21st.
