GLAY have announced that they will release a new triple A-side single on May 25th.
It will be titled HEROES / Binetsu (A) girl Summer / Tsuzureori ~so far and yet so close~, and each track was written by a different member of the band. HEROES, composed by TERU, will be used as the opening theme for the anime series "Daiya no A -SECOND SEASON-". It's described as a fresh rock number meant to inspire people chasing their dreams.
HISASHI's contribution, Binetsu (A) girl Summer, is described as a ska summer tune and features Sawamura Sayako from all-female rock band NEGOTO on drums.
Tsuzureori ~so far and yet so close~ is an older track composed by TAKURO that recently took first place when the band polled their fans about which of their ballads they would recommend to a new listener. The version featured on this single is a live recording from GLAY's Miracle Music Hunt 2014-2015 arena tour.
The single will be available in two editions. The limited edition will feature a bonus DVD with music videos for HEROES and Tsuzureori ~so far and yet so close~, as well as making-of footage. The regular edition will be CD-only.
A short version of the video for Tsuzureori ~so far and yet so close~, which was created using around 3000 photos contributed by fans, can be viewed below:
