REKION, a solo project of metal vocalist YAMA-B, will release a new mini-album on April 26th.
As its title suggests, ANIME-SONG SELECTION 2 contains heavy metal covers of songs from five classic anime series. These include Kikoeru kashira from the 1979 series "Anne of Green Gables", Fly! Groizer X from 1976's "Groizer X", and The Transformers, the closing song from the 1986 film of the same name.
REKION has been active intermittently since 2005, and it is a solo project in the truest sense of the term. Along with vocals, YAMA-B plays all instruments himself.
