The Birthday are celebrating their tenth anniversary this year and, so far, 2015 has already seen them release two new singles. However, the band will put out two more new releases before the year is through.
Their first best-of compilation, GOLD TRASH, will be released in three editions on September 16th. All three will feature two CDs with a total of twenty-eight tracks stretching from their very first single, stupid, to 2014's Kusottare no sekai. The 2CD+Blu-ray Limited Edition and 2CD+DVD Limited Edition will both feature footage from the band's special studio live held on June 9th this year. However, the 2CD+Blu-ray will also have all of the band's music videos and a 100-page photobook, and all of its contents will come packed in an LP-sized box. The 2CD+DVD Limited Edition comes in a digipak. The Regular Edition features just the two CDs.
The band will also release a new album, titled BLOOD AND LOVE CIRCUS, on October 21st. The album will be available in a CD+DVD Limited Edition and a CD-only Regular Edition. It will feature eleven tracks, including the previously-released singles I KNOW and MOTHER. The Limited Edition's DVD will feature self liner notes from the members and making-of footage.
