Japanese culture festival JapanFestival Berlin will open its doors for the eleventh time from January 23rd to 24th 2016.
The festival will be held at URANIA Berlin, Germany. On four floors, two big stages and in several halls visitors can discover Japan in almost every aspect. 250 artists, musicians, dancers, designers and performers as well as 80 exhibitors will present Japanese art, culture, tourism and more. Various surprises and presentations are also being planned.
Many of the traditional sounds and instruments of Japan will be represented at the festival, including taiko music from Tengu Daiko, shakuhachi melodies from Patrick Urban and vocals from female choir Nagomi, as well as folk songs sung by Ensemble Sakura.
