Pop duo WaT recently announced that they will disband on February 11th.

This decision will likely not come as a shock to longtime fans because, while both Eiji Wentz and Teppei Koike have been busy with various acting roles and TV appearances over the past five years, they have not released any new music together since 2010's 24/7 ~mou ichido~. In blog posts on their official fanclub site, the two men stated that they have decided to officially disband WaT because they wish to continue focusing on their individual goals.

In 2015, WaT celebrated the 10th anniversary of their major debut. To mark this milestone in their career, they will release a best-of album titled Sotsugyou BEST, which will be available in three editions on February 10th. All three versions will contain a new song called Hajimari no toki.

They will hold a handshake event on February 11th to promote the release.

A short version of the PV for Hajimari no toki can be viewed below.
