THE YELLOW MONKEY Returns

Veteran rock band THE YELLOW MONKEY just announced today that they will reunite for an arena tour.

In May, the band will head out on THE YELLOW MONKEY SUPER JAPAN TOUR 2016, their first nationwide tour in 16 years. The tour will consist of 20 shows spread across 10 different venues - the band will play two back-to-back dates at each location. They have also opened a fanclub and official
Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts.

THE YELLOW MONKEY first began activities in 1989. They made their major debut in 1992 and gained enormous popularity in their home country over the course of their career, selling millions of records and influencing a generation of young rock musicians. They have also earned some fans overseas due to their song Tactics being featured as one of the ending themes for the anime "Rurouni Kenshin". The band went on hiatus after a performance at the Tokyo Dome in 2001 and officially disbanded in 2004.
