Electronic duo BOOM BOOM SATELLITES have announced that their upcoming EP, LAY YOUR HANDS ON ME, will be their final release.

Masayuki Nakano explained in a blog post that, due to after effects from his brain tumor such as paralysis, Michiyuki Kawashima has ended his career as a musician and is now living peacefully with his family. Nakano stated that, while they had hoped to release a 10th album, he feels this EP is a fitting work to bring their journey together to a close, and that he believes Kawashima feels the same sense of fulfillment and accomplishment now that it is complete.

LAY YOUR HANDS ON ME will feature four songs, and the title track is being used as the opening theme for the anime "Kiznaiver". The EP will will hit stores in two versions on June 22nd. It will also be released digitally worldwide on the same day.
