HaKU have announced that they will disband after a final tour titled
HaKU Last Tour "Saigo made odore.". The tour will begin in Osaka on August 9th and wrap up in Tokyo on the 18th.
In a message posted on their official website, frontman
Yuki Tsujimura stated that after numerous discussions, the members concluded that breaking up was necessary for them to continue on to their next step. He thanked the members and all of the band's staff, fans, family and friends for their support over the years.
HaKU will also be commemorating their nine years together with a self-titled best-of album. Scheduled for release on August 10th,
HaKU will feature 17 tracks, including two new songs:
red or blue and
Fantastic Mirror Ball. The limited edition of the album will come with a bonus DVD featuring music videos, while the regular edition will be CD-only.
HaKU was formed in Osaka in 2007. They made their major debut in 2012 and just transferred over to UNIVERSAL J in 2015.
